Goonhilly

Distance

Distance is an exploration of scale, separation, and the many ways distance can be felt, measured, or imagined. Antony moves from sublime hillscapes, plateaus, and expansive views of nature to more unexpected forms of remoteness: the satellite at Goonhilly reaching towards distant stars or the spiral of a snail shell unfolding into a mathematical sense of extension. Across the collection, distance becomes more than physical space. It becomes a way of thinking about longing, perception, structure, and the vastness contained within both the outer world and the smallest natural forms.
